Slasher Organic Weedkiller
Slasher® Organic Weedkiller rapidly kills weeds, moss, algae and lichen. Use it in gardens, paths, driveways, around buildings and as a spot spray in lawns. It works quickly to control weeds, the organic way!
The active ingredients in Slasher® are made from natural plant oils – a combination of pelargonic acid (nonanoic acid) and orange oil terpenes (D-limonene). Pelargonic acid occurs naturally in plants, including geraniums. Orange oil is an essential oil extracted from citrus peel. Together they act on the foliage, causing it to quickly dehydrate and collapse. Results are seen as browning and wilting, usually within 1 hour of application.
Slasher® is a non-selective weedkiller and will control many weed species on contact.
Slasher® is non-residual in soil and biodegrades within a few days.

Spraying Tips:

- Keep pets off treated areas while the spray is wet. Once dried pets can return to the area.
- Thorough coverage is needed when spraying because any parts you miss won’t be killed.
- Take care when spraying around your favourite plants as any spray drift may damage or kill them.
- Do not apply to wet weeds, or if rain is imminent as the extra moisture will dilute the spray and weaken its impact.
- Do not spray on porous surfaces without spot testing first. Slasher® Organic Weedkiller may cause discolouration on porous hard surfaces like pavers and bricks.
- The dilution rate for the concentrate is 70mL per litre of water – detailed instructions can be found on the back of the bottle. Simply peel off the top layer to reveal a second layer underneath which contains the dilution rate and instructions. Peel from the top right-hand corner where it says, “Peel Here”.
- If you can’t see a second layer underneath it means you’ve accidently peeled back both layers instead of just the top layer.

Slasher® Organic Weedkiller Concentrate contains: 525 g/L Nonanoic acid and 21.4 g/L Orange oil terpenes.
Slasher® Organic Weedkiller Ready to Use contains: 36.8 g/L Nonanoic acid and 1.5 g/L Orange oil terpenes.

MIXING (SLASHER® CONCENTRATE ONLY): Half fill spray tank and commence agitation. Slowly add required amount of Slasher® Organic Weedkiller. Top up with required quantity of water. Agitate well before commencing spray procedure. Do not mix more than is needed.
APPLICATION: Ensure that all weed foliage is totally covered with spray as Slasher® Organic Weedkiller is a contact spray only. Partial coverage will give only partial control. Apply using a coarse droplet spray. Optimum application volumes are related to weed maturity and density. Contact with the weeds is essential for control, so apply in sufficient water to ensure complete and thorough coverage of foliage.
Usage Precautions:
- Do not use on food or feed crops
- Do not apply in windy conditions
- Do not apply if weeds are wet
- Do not apply if rainfall is expected before spray is dry on plant surfaces
- Do not water the treated area for 24 hours to achieve maximum results
- Do not apply if heavy rains or storms that are likely to cause runoff from soil are forecast, within 3 days of application
- Do not irrigate to the point of runoff from soil for at least 3 days after application
- Do not allow spray to contact or drift onto plants you do not want killed
- Keep pets off treated areas while the spray is wet. Once dried pets can return to the area

Storage: Store in closed original container out of reach of children.
Safety Directions: Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. The use of gloves is recommended when loading and mixing the substance. When using wear eye protection and protective gloves. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Environmental Protection: Avoid release into the environment. Do not apply this product onto or into water.
Container Disposal: Ensure the container is empty. Dispose of empty container by wrapping in paper and putting in the rubbish. Do not reuse this container for any other purpose.
Product Disposal: Dispose of this product only by using according to the label. Never dispose of unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain. In case of spillage use an absorbent material to soak up and dispose of by wrapping and placing in rubbish.
First Aid: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or National Poisons Information Centre: Phone 0800 764 766. If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly. If skin rash occurs get medical advice/attention. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice/attention.
